Now to get my ba I need to actually write some full length papers, on the matter. Which I am still have to get my big processor up after XP Malaware took it down thanks to a fake shipment email. I thought one of my many manuscripts or books was being sent to me and nope.

It has been subsidized for a long time by taxes. At about 8 billion each bail out. Which means fiscally it is horrible managed. I mean I could clean it up easily. Simple stated, their vehicles are horrible on gas mileage, Pensions and retirement should be based on paid in, mail should reflect the cost of gas. As such, most mail trucks could easily have hybrid engines, saving a long term financial cost, employees would have to pay more in for their pensions, or they could start 401k's which I have mixed feelings on. I think I will write a piece on this.
