I will have to find out if I need a contractors license for this business. I do not think I will need one as I will be paying the city unions to install the them. Which means I will just be managing them. Then again who knows.

"The purpose of the California licensing law is to protect the public from incompetence and dishonesty in those who provide building and construction services 195 and to guard the public against unskilled workmanship and deception.196The case of Asdourian v. Araj, 38 Cal. 3d 276 (1985)"
Especially if that is the law, as I believe in my unprofessional opinion, however, it is a building and construction service, of course then again, I am not per se nor my business going to be doing it, we are just the middle men between the producer and the construction workers, more or less like the business sellers, then managers. This is going to take a lot of work. It is worth it.
"A contractor (which includes a builder, subcontractor, or specialty contractor) is defined by Business and Professional Code § 7026 as one who either undertakes or conveys the authority to undertake the construction, alteration, repair, improvement, or demolition of any building, road, or other structure. Anyone engaging in the above activities is required to possess a valid California state contractor’s license."
Never mind I will be conveying the matter, so maybe I do need one.
There is non for street improvements. I mean I could pass that test, place item in the street, weight street can withstand etc. However, the grid one is going to take some time though. I should do this while I am preparing to get into my MA this summer.
