Why is the US being on the defensive on these matters.

I will line by line this article as I present it in a view of a real person that watches the Communist High Technological and Economic Warfare destroy the US and can pin point bases, personnel, operations and even key players that the CCP uses as weak links in US trade deficits so we never pay off our balance, in which the CCP wishes us to default so they can try and take our land or even pressure us more in lose of international political clout. This is straight out, they are our enemies, they have killed us, sold to terrorist in the US missiles and bombs, along with destroyed our economy using things that hundreds of millions of people died fighting against, as it creates instability in the economy. This is serious and the foreign affairs of the US is a very weak link in this matter.

We sold weapons to a peaceful nation that is owned by the Communist Party of China
