The idea that Foreign Direct Investment by SOE's is a horrible shot to the foot.

FDI is the idea that foreign countries invest their funds in a foriegn country. In which that is supposed to help a country grow and also allow another country to gain interest from that investment. However, when the FDI is a complete nuclear economic attack it is a bad idea. As such, we can see the SOE's of the Communist being allowed to own our domestic market shares as a bad idea.
Economic Nuclear attack.
1. Cost's the US interest in which we lose the surplus of the creation of production value to the Communists Parties massive centralized economic banks.
2. The Jobs market shrinks as the SOE's uses turn around affects of domestic political corruption and lobbying to offshore more jobs, than the few that was created by the SOE that was allowed in.
3. The SOE basically destroys the ability of other domestic start ups or already going free enterprises from having a proper place to gain strength, knowledge and proper help to export. This is because the SOE's themselves gain extra support from the PLA, MSS and SASAC. In which destroy other countries ability in the Communist dreams to own the world. This then destroys the ideas of the US citizen having a fair competition to start a business. As the SOE's will just use political, military and intelligence clout like we have seen them do many times to force the US to do business with them.
4. It takes away the incentive for the Communist Party to become a political adversary system and a free market. I mean the US fought three wars and is still fighting to help folks govern themselves via political adversary systems, and to help them own their own labors via free enterprises. The CCP also has full transitional economic committees which are just show now. That where supposed to transition them into a political adversary system and free market. However, they just literally shut down a few and conglomerated the shut down business with other SOE's. Along with that the US does not have any SOE's that are for profit. Like the CCP does. For profit meaning The CCP uses the money earned to be placed back into a centralized economy to recapitalizes other business that sell to cheap and destroy competition. That is for profit Communist style.
5. It allows the Communist Party to think that it is ok to lie about disbanding their SOE's and say they only have a hundred when DO's have counted over 1500.
6. Lastly and most importantly it allows Foreign Intelligence officers to come into the US and gain guerrilla supports via illegal intelligence matters that are used to Destroy the USA. Just like we have seen with COSCO, and exactly how we saw with the Soviet Union. Any fed or police officer or legislature that thinks that the SOE's will not create guerrillas has not been in Africa on their bellies watching the CCP intelligence officers create guerrillas to fight US and free market forces. 7. Not to mention the more powerhouse of the CCP to create more intelligence bases for static operations that wish to stop the CCP from taken over the world and helping the USA have a Supply Side Surplus to pay off its accounts and balance the budget.
